Congratulations Katie Bizzak Winner of Curvy Kate North American Star in a Bra 2013!
Katie is a clinical nursing student from a little town called Kane in Pennsylvania with only 4000 people, and she beat over 600 hopefuls to win the title.
To win she had the support of her friends from high school who sent her link to their clubs,sororities and fraternities they belonged to in college and her roommate handed out flyers for people to vote for her.
The inspiration for Katie entering the contest started when her friend was going to rehab for her eating disorders.
Katie said, "I knew I had to enter for her because this cookie cutter image of beauty that the media has instilled into our heads, at such a young age, needs to change. However, my inspiration for being so determined to win was for my town. I wanted to make them proud". That you have done girl.
